Physical and Chemical changes

 

Physical Changes:

Melting——————————chocolate, butter, ice

Evaporation————————sweating, clothes drying

Condensation———————-rain, dew

Freezing—————————-water

Change in shape or size———-rubber band, balloon

 

Chemical changes:

When a chemical change occurs, new substances are produced.

Usually, they cannot be reversed.

Examples:

burning of paper

boiling an egg

decaying of teeth

batteries

fuel in car
